I've been to the shops in both Charleston and Asheville now. They each carry an assortment of savory and sweet sugars, sweet and savory salts, all sorts of teas and other seasoning products as well, but in addition each shop has their own spice blends and gift packets unique to that store. A must for any culinarily-inclined individual.

- Have an AS in culinary from ACC in Graham, NC, an MA in art history, and a PhD in kitchen fun (okay, maybe made that last one up). Add to that a background in museum work, editing, publishing, catering, and event planning.
